Tokyo Poetry Journal's Vol.16, the Eco Poetry volume, was launched on June 13 at Ryozan Park Lounge.

ToPoJo's EiC Jeffrey Johnson opened the night and invited ToPoJo editor Biankah Bailey to take the mic — she read a poem by editor emerita Barbara Summerhawk.

Contributors to the volume who read were Yaxkin Melchy, Itsushi Kawase and Morgan X. Schulz. The reader lineup was also joined by guest poet Frank Spignese.

Other ToPoJo members who read were Marcellus Nealy, Silje Ree, Joy Waller, and Zoria Petkoska K., who was announced to become the next editor in chief.

Special guests, Alejandro Núñez, presented his photography, while artist and ToPoJo Visual Poetry volume contributor Ana Jovanovska had a pop up on art on handmade paper.

Finally, Jeffrey Johnson and Greg Snazz on guitar closed the night.
